Position: Payroll Specialist

This role exists to ensure every RHINO is paid accurately, efficiently, and on time, no exceptions! As our Payroll Specialist, you’ll own payroll operations end-to-end, from validating data to processing payments and supporting reporting. With a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to doing things right, the Payroll Specialist helps protect the integrity of our payroll practices and support the overall health of the business.

Pay and Perks:

Compensation: $22-$27.65 per hour; based on experience.
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL (not a remote position).
Full standard benefits for full-time employees.
Standard HQ PTO Policy.

About the Role:

Process accurate, timely payroll across all employees, including multi-state compliance and off-cycle runs.
Audit payroll data, manage tax filings, and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
Maintain and optimize payroll systems, reporting, and employee records.
Support benefits programs, including 401(k) and retirement plans.
Partner with HR and Finance while serving as the go-to resource for payroll questions and support.

What We're Looking For:

2-3 years of payroll experience; CPP certification or degree in accounting/finance preferred.
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, processing, and multi-state compliance requirements.
High attention to detail with excellent data management and confidentiality standards.
Analytical problem-solver with strong organization and time management skills.
Effective communicator and team player, with experience supporting audits and employee training.
