Position: Screening Specialist (Part Time)

The Screening Specialist serves as the first live interaction between RED RHINO and prospective team members. In this role, you’ll interview and vet applicants, uncover key qualitative and quantitative insights, and fiercely protect our culture by advancing only the most driven, aligned, and exemplary RHINOS! This position plays a direct role in shaping the future of our team and fueling the continued growth of the Company.

Pay and Perks: 

• Compensation: $21-$27.50 per hour, based on experience.

About the Role: 

• Conduct 20-25 (Part-Time) or 32–40 quality interviews, ensuring a consistent and efficient candidate experience.
• Proactively manage interview scheduling and applicant communication through scheduling platforms, email, and other electronic tools to optimize calendar flow.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including detailed interview notes and clear advancement recommendations.
• Advance qualified candidates through the appropriate hiring stages within the ATS.
• Provide consistent updates and collaborate with the Recruiting Director, hiring managers, and key stakeholders regarding staffing efforts, campaign progress, and hiring priorities.

What We're Looking For: 

• Proven experience or demonstrated potential for success as a recruiter or in a similar talent acquisition role, exhibiting a successful track record of sourcing, vetting, and/or hiring candidates.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with candidates and hiring leaders while embodying professionalism and RED RHINO Core Values (FUN).
• Strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and discernment to assess role fit, long-term potential, and culture-add impact.
• Proficiency with ATS platforms, job boards, and social sourcing tools, with a solid understanding of employment laws and hiring best practices.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities with discretion, while remaining motivated to directly contribute to company growth by finding exceptional RHINOS.
