RED RHINO is hiring a Director of Sales to join our leadership team. This position reports directly to the CEO and provides leadership for the Marketing and Sales Departments. Fundamentally, this position is responsible for expanding the footprint and increasing revenue at RED RHINO, while protecting the company mission and core values.  The Director of Sales leads several areas that are key to growth including referral source development, consumer marketing efforts and territory expansion.

A person who succeeds in this role has mastered the principles of marketing and sales and can apply these principles at every level of the company from the overall offering, to larger strategies, to basic scripts.  The Director of Sales is responsible to establish the roadmap for marketing and sales and then ensure the departments achieve these goals.  The successful candidate will have a strong sales leadership background, experience in B2B sales and value selling, relationship building and the like. We are in need of someone who can manage a full cycle sales process - presale, sale and post sales. 


  • Experience leading marketing or sales efforts with proven results
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Business development or related roles, preferably in service industry
  • Ability to communicate at a high-level (excellent writing and speaking skills)
  • Self-starter who is internally driven and compelled to achieve goals, including executing with excellence and upholding company values
  • Clear understanding of the buying process and ability to spot weaknesses and improve current approaches at every level of selling throughout the company
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to get your team to achieve their potential
  • Understanding of branding principles, marketing positioning and USP
  • Digital marketing and consumer marketing experience a plus


  • Protect the Red Rhino branding consistency in the arenas of print collateral, digital media, web presence, vehicle wraps, uniforms, scripts and events
  • Lead the Business Development Reps (BDR) and Sales Manager in related efforts
  • Provide marketing and sales training throughout the company
  • Develop and improve marketing offerings to stay one step ahead of the industry and maintain our position as an innovative market leader
  • Land strategic relationships with executives in target referral networks
  • Oversee all digital marketing efforts and make sure that our web presence is first class for the service industry
  • Travel may be necessary up to 20% of the time
